Mrs. White's 7th Grade Math

Students have an assignment to begin that combines their knowledge of integer rules and decimals. At first I know they will be less than excited but I have faith they'll do fine. All students know their Prodigy log ins, they should be written in their agendas. However, if they get home without it, please feel free to email me and I can get you that information quickly.

Today we worked more on dividing decimals by whole numbers and decimals. Students were using smarties to mark their cards. So everyone is a winner. I used a bingo activity that I found on Teacher Pay Teachers and put all the questions on the smartboard for everyone to see. This is a classroom favorite, they love throwing the bean bag at the board. This is how the questions were selected. They then worked the problems at their seats. I used the SmartSeat app to randomly select the student to throw the bean bag and then another to give us the answer. Here are some pictures from the activity.      

In class today we spun the wheel to create our practice problems.
